Fotografie interbelica din colectia mea de fotografii vechi, reprezentand portretul unui tanar sublocotenent de altadata, pe nume Mihai, care a oferit fotografia lui, probabil unui bun prieten, Nicusor C. Fotografia este datata, ” 20/6/919, Hotin„.
Asadar fotografia a fost realizata dupa Primul Razboi Mondial (1914-1918). Este posibil ca tanarul nostru sublocotenent sa fi participat la conflagratia mondiala, avand in vedere ca are la pieptul stang o decoratie.

The last time I visited my mother (about a year ago because we live on the other side of the world from each other) she gave me a folder of old family pictures. Mostly of my grandparents and great grandparents when they were young. They are one of my most treasured possessions.
